What Is The Color Tagging Button For? How Does Color Tagging Work? Mockup Showing Wrong Color Design?
The color tagging feature on Simply Listed has two great features that you get for using this!
Color tagging will also fix the issue if your designs are showing up as the wrong color on your mockups like a light design on a dark shirt and a dark design on a light shirt for example.
Why to tag the color of your mockups?
- If you tag the color of your mockups, then this tells Simply Listed what color shirt is in the photo. That way Simply Listed can grab the correct design file on Printify for that color if you offer for example a white design on the black shirt or a black design on the white shirt.
- If your shirt colors are tagged, then Simply Listed will connect the photo of that mockup to the Etsy variation! This means that when a customer is looking at your listing on Etsy, then when they select that color, it will show that color to them on the screen automatically and it will show you the correct color they purchase in your orders page.
- If you're using out Custom Templates then the color tagging will only connect the color variations to the Etsy listing and will also show up in the page name in your downloads for that image, that way it will automatically connect to that color variation on Shopify as well!
**How to tag the colors of your mockups? **
- Simply click the print area, then click the "tag color" button that is next to the print area button on the top of the screen, then choose the color of the item in the photo
- If the tag color button is grayed out, that is because you must click the print area that you want to tag first, then you can choose the color!
- You will know the print area has been tagged correctly when you see the color name printed across the white print area box like above "Moss, Moss, Moss" for example.
