# Why are the variants on sku linking repeated instead?

If your variations look something like the example above when using the **SKU Linking** feature and your variation names are coming up multiple times istead of being abbreviated, then there may be a small issue with how the product names are typed before the size on Etsy.

* Variations must be an **exact match** for Simply Listed to recognize them as the same option.

* ❌ **"Adult Sweatshirt-"** (incorrect – missing a space before the dash)

2. **Misspelled Variation Names**    

* If one variation has a typo, it will not match correctly with the others.
