Design Is Lower Than It Should be Or In The Wrong Spot?
Fixing Design Size and Placement Issues in Simply Listed
If your template looks correct and the print area appears properly positioned, but your designs shrink or shift lower each time you test, then there are two potential easy fixes!
1. Ensure Your Design Stays Within the Print Area
Unlike other platforms, Simply Listed requires your entire design—including any transparent space—to be fully inside the dotted print area in Printify.
🔍 Common Issue: If any part of your design, even transparent areas, extends outside the dotted lines, the final mockup may not display correctly.

How to Fix It
To prevent this issue, make sure your design is sized exactly to fit within Printify’s recommended dimensions before uploading. Here’s how:
- Find the Correct Design Dimensions in Printify:
- Open the design upload page in Printify.
- Click the "i" (information) button in the top left corner.
- Note the exact recommended dimensions.
- Create Your Design at the Correct Size:
- Use a canvas size that matches Printify’s recommended dimensions.
- Ensure that no part of the design extends past the print area, including transparency.

Until a Fix Is Released...
We are actively working on a solution, but for now, following these steps will help ensure your designs appear correctly in Simply Listed mockups.

2. ** You Need To Reposition Your Print Area After Cropping **
**Another potential cause could be if you cropped your print area for a folded mockup or a mug for example, then any time you use the crop tool, you need to "reposition" your design after to tell Simply Listed which part of the design you would like to show. **

Pull the print area to show the part you want shown in the mockups and then make sure you click "Apply Image" after or else it won't save the changes!
